Bio

Artemio Rodriguez graduated from UC Riverside in 2020 with a degree in Sociology and a concentration in Law and Society. Immediately after graduating UCR, Artemio attended California Western School of Law in San Diego and graduated in 2023.

During Law School, Artemio was a member of the Latinx Law Student Association and was a Student Intern for the Community Law Project. There, Artemio helped low-income and vulnerable communities in the San Diego area with their legal issues. Issues such as evictions, immigration, domestic violence, divorce, and wills and trusts.

Artemio was among only 9 other students who interned for the Civil Division of the City Attorney’s Office for the City of San Diego in the Summer of 2022. There, he helped deputy attorneys on complex and important issues affecting the City of San Diego; issues such as, the ongoing homeless crisis and the new ordinance regarding sidewalk vendors.

Artemio was born and raised in Oceanside, CA and has lived in San Diego for several years. He loves his community and is grateful to serve the people of San Diego. Artemio enjoys playing and watching sports; spending quality time with his family; playing with his English Bulldog and hanging out with his friends.
